As if it's not enough that this radical blowhard is a rabid hypocrite (Google his viewpoints on drug use [vs] his own drug charges -- that's his mug shot to the left) he's now attacking Michael J. Fox... For what, you ask? For having Parkinson's Disease.
Limbaugh suggested "that Michael J. Fox, the actor, exaggerated the effects of his ParkinsonÂs disease in television advertisements for Democrat candidates that highlight the issue of stem-cell research. Rush Limbaugh said: ÂHe is moving around, and shaking, and itÂs clearly an act. [times online]The poor excuse for a "journalist" tried to mumble an apology... but like everything he does, it was veiled in hatred:
Limbaugh said on his radio show, "If this was not an act, then I apologize." He went on to say, however, that Fox is allowing his illness to be exploited. [people]Um, Rush -- I know apologizing for the ridiculous things you say is not something you're accustomed to, but -- that's not a proper apology. Try again, fucko.
Naturally, Fox's response was all class. Something Rush will never have. Why this crazy bastard still has a platform to spew his brand of misinformation and twisted opinions is beyond me. He needs to be put down.
To get the facts... go to Michael's foundation.
Peace, brother. Be well.

michael j. fox has previously stated that he gets off his medication when he does these types of things to show the true nature and effects of the disease and to raise awareness, and i'm sure to help his cause. does this have sociopolitical implications? in this case, yes, but when you have the disease you're fighting for personal reasons and for the betterment of future generations that may end up with the disease (like fear for your kids, not certain if this particular one is genetic)... not really the same as pharmaceutical companies backing ads against stem cell research so their drug sales don't take a hit should a cure be discovered. did you see the video of this ass, severely twiching and laughing as he mimicked michael j. fox's appearance on the commercial? sad reality is that this guy is one of the most listened to / influential radio personalities in the country. i think his listeners are the same people that have made wrestling one of the most watched "sports" in america.

i think it's a celebrity's duty to 'exploit' themselves -- because as sad as it may be -- people listen to and take notice of what celebrities do. so, as awful as fox's sitch is -- he'd doing the right thing. and s/b applauded. you're so right, john.
i never tire of hearing that :)
