The season opener revealed many new plot points... but perhaps the most shocking is that only 6 were rescued from the island (the remaining people either didn't make it off the island alive or stayed behind for as yet unknown reasons). Of the Oceanic Six we know that Jack, Kate and Hurley are three. (Plus, whoever is in that coffin.) Next week's episode will reveal a 4th in the Oceanic Six.
Also from the season opener is this screencap from Hurley's encounter with Jacob's cabin. Who's that sitting in Jacob's rocking chair? None other than Christian Shepherd, fueling rumors that Christian is Jacob and is running the whole show...
Last night's episode introduced 4 new characters, who are supposedly there to rescue the castaways -- although that's not top on their list. Their real beef is with Ben.
For me, the best tidbit was the introduction of Charlotte while on an archaeological dig in Tunisia. What's been dug up in the vast desert is the skeleton of a polar bear wearing a Dharma Initiative collar. Hmm... Ponder that.
More enticing and boggling stuff to come. Make sure to watch!
