It's the Xenu Talking...

Catatonic Katie, Katitonic, appears to be even more hypnotized by the power of Xenu -- especially as the birth of the lovechild hastens. I swear, this story keeps getting weirder and weirder:

...Holmes stunned a magazine journalist when she accompanied fiance Tom Cruise on a recent interview, by acting in a "dazed, passive and vacant" manner.... [she] sat quietly beside Cruise as he opened up about his abusive father Thomas Mapother III to Parade reporter Dotson Rader. In the Parade interview, Rader writes, "...She seemed dazed, passive and vacant. She never stopped smiling." Rader was stunned to notice Holmes kept smiling, even as the Top Gun star recalled the beatings he suffered as a child. [imdb]

No one can tell me she hasn't been 'cleansed'. Looks like she's going into the silent birth mode before she goes into actual labor. Some wacky scientologists have been making statements in support of Tom and Katie's choice for Silent Birthing, The Daily Telegraph elaborates:

"It's just good commonsense to have a quiet space, and it creates a calm and loving environment," said [Anne] Archer... Fatal Attraction. "When a woman is in labour, it is very intense, and when everyone is moving around and chatting, it's very hard to deal with the discomfort."

"Try to keep it as quiet as possible. Of course you're going to yell. It hurts. Just keep it to a minimum," [Kelly] Preston said.

Also, Priscilla Presley has been quoted as saying: "If people actually read L Ron Hubbard's teachings they would understand that drug-free silent births show respect to the baby and stop them becoming unbalanced. "I wish I'd had a silent birth when I had Lisa Marie." [Ireland Online]
